Nicelle Davis was born in 1979, a year that marks the end of the polyester generation and the introduction of spandex into the American concept of attractiveness. The act of writing poetry has been, for her, the same slow process of using one plastic fabric for another in order to achieve an aesthetic that truly captures the ‘beauty’ of mankind.  She writes with the intention of one day finding something truly fitting for the American experience.
She lives in Lan
