Two other prizes are to be established soon in Mr. Turco’s name: the Windmill Poets’ Lewis Turco Award of the Poetry Society of Oklahoma Annual Contest, and the National Federation of State Poetry Societies Lewis Turco Prize sponsored by the Windmill Poets of the Poetry Society of Oklahoma. Lewis Turco is currently serving as Honorary Chancellor of the National Federation of State Poetry Societies.
